My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is a fun and exciting adventure that kids are sure to enjoy. Nick and Tesla, who are twins, spend the summer with their scientist Uncle, Newt, while their scientist parents are missing in action (on the run from bad guys who want to steal their top secret project they are working on for the government). This book follows Nick and Tesla’s adventure in their search for their parents.

With witty humor and excitement, the pages of this book will intrigue readers to follow along on Nick and Tesla’s mission of finding their parents. This book is for ages 8-12, grades 3-6, and it is science at its best. The authors provide fun and exciting experiments with step-by-step instructions, enabling children to be able to build and experiment with the science tools Nick and Tesla create and experiment with in this story. This book is fun, adventurous, and thrilling. It teaches kids about the love of science and how one can use science in everyday life as well as in even the most peculiar situations. This book would be great for summer reading and for those that take science to the level of awesome.
