The audiobook edition is narrated by Sean Runnette.
This book is about the ten tools that every father needs. Fatherhood is more than feeding children: it is about raising offspring to be an impact in the future. It is the most important investment any man could ever make. In fact, when there is a lack of solid fatherhood in the life of a boy, the risk of a life of crime is dramatically increased, as well as other adverse outcomes. Fathers play the most crucial role in the mom-dad team that comprise teaching moral living. During these formative years, a solid, moral father is necessary for the child. That’s what this book is about: the most important job a man will ever have.
This book explores the ten tools necessary for fathers. However, these are not self-learned. You will need help, and not just this book. This book is only the map – you will still need the keys, the gas, and the car to hit the road.
Runnette’s narration is at a medium to quicker pace, yet solid with inflection of the text, providing a dramatic reading that is similar to what one could expect from a home-based DVD study kit or the older cassette-style motivational teachings. Runnette does a splendid job giving life, and importance, to this audiobook. His reading, while well-paired, carries a natural monotone tendency to it, limiting the long-term listening of the text.Disclosure: I have received a reviewer copy and/or payment in exchange for an honest review of the product mentioned in this post.
