“A Hero’s Throne” by Ross Lawhead

This book is Book Two in the Ancient Earth Trilogy. You can read my review of Book One here.

This book, as the second book in the trilogy, really should be read after the first book. It’s designed that way. That said, Ross Lawhead delivers once again with an enchanting prose to complement his tale, luring readers in from the very first page. So be sure you have read the first book before starting this one, as you won’t be able to change course or put the book down.

As with the first book, this tale continues with British lore that predates the Christian influence in Great Britain. Following Daniel and Freya, readers continue to discover the sleeping knights as an enemy force not only plants seeds of destruction, but begins to eliminate its greatest opposition to its goal: the knights themselves.

Ross’ writing is a pleasure to read and great for teenage and adult readers alike. A nice break from the everyday routine, this fantasy fiction is definitely a delight.Disclosure: I have received a reviewer copy and/or payment in exchange for an honest review of the product mentioned in this post.
