“Bible Stories That End with a Hug!” by Stephen Elkins

This book review features not just the standard review, but also a special video of a Bible Stories story being read to children, complete with an ending hug session.

This story book comes with a padded cover, inviting to children reading the book, and giving an initially soft feeling that opens the heart to warm hugs. From the first chapter in the Bible through Y’shua’s ministry, this book tells many stories of grace and love throughout the Bible, by which the tale ends with a hug. The point? Everyone needs a hug, especially children. Each two page set contains one story – page one with an illustration, and page two with a tales, involving the Bible verse and answer important questions about the text and how it involves hugging.

Overall, I feel that this book is excellent for children and parents to spend a brief storybook time together that involves the Bible and communicating love in a healthy and necessary way: parents hugging their kids. At $15 retail, I believe it could be a lower price, but there’s a lot that goes into book-making, and considering the quality of the stories, along with the artistic drawings, it’s an excellent book for kids. I give it 5 stars. And as a bonus, here’s a video of my wife reading the first tale, cartoonized, to 1.0 and 2.0…
