This book, written by Neil T. Anderson, asserts that it is the proven method on how to grow spiritually mature Christians. I am familiar with Neil’s works, and wanted to take a look and see what he had to say in this book.
Ten practical ways to a better sermon by Sunday. Ah, the allure of self-help books and “ten simple step” works. To be honest, the ten steps are not short or simple, but they are practical and beneficial. Look at a sermon as an illustrative speech filled with metaphors and lessons.
This book is about mentorship. And The Princess Bride. But mostly mentorship. The author takes metaphors and parables and brings them to the reader to help them get the bigger picture – the wise guys.
